Caleb Miles Endorses Bill MacDonald

Caleb Miles endorses Bill MacDonald and Bill was honoured that Caleb took some time to speak about what matters most to him in an MLA candidate as Bill seeks the nomination of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party for the Annapolis electoral district. Bill and Caleb share a love of music and a deep concern for the well-being of this place we call home.

Caleb said:
“I am not looking for a politician who represents me. I am looking for a candidate who will represent you, me, folks who have lived here for generations as well as folks who decide tomorrow to relocate to this beautiful area.

I am not looking for a politician who will speak for me. I am looking for a candidate who will listen to ideas, ask for input, and who cares more about the concerns we have as a whole community than the priorities of single-interest groups and big-money industries.

I moved to Nova Scotia in 2005 after living all over the US: the desert Southwest, the heart of the Bluegrass, the Deep South, the Pacific Northwest. I can tell you that Annapolis County is a very rich place, both in its land, its people, its tranquil beauty, its opportunities. I am not looking for a politician who will exploit this richness or sell it to the loudest bidder. I am looking for a candidate who appreciates and will cultivate and nurture this wealth with future generations in mind, with diversity in mind, with justice and balance in mind.

I believe Bill MacDonald is that candidate.”
